Commitment to Gender Equality
Since its foundation, SME Engineering has incorporated the principles of gender equality into its operations and activities and promotes equal opportunities for women and men.
SME Engineering maintains a Gender Equality Plan aligned with relevant national and European gender-equality principles and research-area good practices. The Plan is reviewed periodically to support continuous improvement and ensure that the company’s procedures and working environment remain inclusive and equitable.
Our Gender Equality Plan
The SME Engineering Gender Equality Plan is built upon three pillars.
Pillar I — Review and Assessment
Analysis of the current situation and review of the procedures and practices applied within SME Engineering in order to identify potential weaknesses in the equal treatment of genders.
Pillar II — Improvement and Inclusion
Identification and implementation of effective and innovative practices intended to prevent or address discrimination and strengthen equal opportunity.
Pillar III — Objectives and Monitoring
Setting objectives and continuously reviewing applied practices through the monitoring of appropriate indicators.
Ongoing Review
SME Engineering is committed to reviewing its gender-equality practices periodically and adapting its actions where necessary to support a fair, inclusive and respectful working environment.
